In addition we are about the only company to master the SQUARE WAVE SIGNAL of the gauge bridge which provides a greater stability of measurement and a
better immunity against the electric noises.
- Accuracy and Measuring Speed
Thanks to our « sigma delta » converter, the internal resolution is 24 bits with 16 millions points and the measuring speed goes from 80 to 180 meas./s.
We have chosen to deliver 100 000 points perfectly steady, such as 300 grams for 30 tons load cell capacity rather than an illusory accuracy only for marketing needs.
- Communication speed
The speed of the weight displaying depends on the signal processing and also the speed of communication between the electronic weight indicator and the
6 or 8 load cells.
There are two data transmission types: CAN bus and RS 485. We were the first to make the choice for the CAN field bus which became a large international
standard for speed and safety transmission reasons (125 000 bits per second compared to 9600 bits per second with RS 485).
With our solution, we print straight away the ticket that result in huge saving time for the end users.
Companies which suggest RS 485 solution haven’t any experience in weighbridge fields.

Our digital load cells are self-protected against lightning or electrical surges. Moreover, our digital junction box contains additional diode protection.

» 9 GOOD REASONS TO CHOOSE DIGITAL SOLUTION
1 : The load cells are perfectly calibrated and might be considered as « measurement standard weight » thanks to its right pairing.
In practice, the corner adjustment is cut out to result in important saving time and set up.
2 : The digital load cell can be changed by another digital one without any calibration (as a precaution, weigh a vehicle to check that
the weight is right), thus important time and money savings (no need to get a calibration truck for this change of the load cell(s)).
3 : The digital junction box is more protected thanks to its surge protection board that provides built-in protection from lightning.
4 : The junction box and the digital load cells cables are almost insensitive against moisture which avoids possible breakdown not easy to detect.
5 : The distance between the weighbridge and the indicator can go up to 300 meters without any measurement or power supply defects.
6 : The same digital link can transmit other signals (self service terminal, remote display...). Meanings, reduction of cable numbers.
7 : The European organizations of Legal Metrology recognize all of these advantages. That’s why they do not impose legal sealing on the junction boxes or on the cable connection to the indicator.
8 : According to the digital indicator connected, the diagnosis of a possible load cell breakdown can be spotted individually (it is not possible with the analog load cells which are connected in parallel).
9 : Due to their implementation and diagnostic simplicity, the digital load cells make possible to deal with less qualified personnel providing to train them on this new technology.
